In addition to the annual salary listed for each position, the judiciary offers full time
employees a comprehensive fringe benefits package that includes retirement plans,
employer-paid medical coverage and life insurance, a generous leave allowance,
and a variety of optional voluntary programs.
Retirement Plan
– State Employees’ Retirement System (SERS)
Mandatory Employee Contributions =
6.25% of Gross Earnings

Optional Life Insurance Plan
Option to purchase “guarantee issue” life insurance up to 3 times salary

Plan pays 40% of gross salary for approved disability

IRS qualified parking limit - $200 per month
